“Brown Town” Short Film
If Oregon has a Brown Trout fishery to rival all those blue ribbon trout fisheries in the East, it is the Owyhee River. The brown trout here are big, numerous, and quite willing to take a dry fly most months out of the year. After spending three days exploring the surrounding Owyhee mountains and Silver City (and fishing Jordan Creek), we landed on the lower Owyhee River below Owyhee Reservoir. Here is a short film that pretty much sums up our experience in “Brown Town”.
